On show will be traditional Mezzotint engravings plus examples of alternative techniques for printing with mezzotint plates. In addition I will be showing work based on the portrait using conventional and experimental approaches.

Demonstrations of mezzotint engraving and printing will be performed on demand and I will be offering to draw/paint your portrait in 10 minutes – no obligation to buy.

Places of Interest: The Festival of the Plough takes place on Sunday 18th September at High Burnham, two miles away.

The Smithy Museum in Owston Ferry is open every Sunday afternoon until the end of September.

Two pubs serve the village, The White Hart and Crooked Billet.

Directions: Owston Ferry lies on the west bank of the River Trent, easily reached via Epworth. Alternatively follow the river from Keadby for about six miles. The Old School is situated along the High Street near the Market Square.
