1 Welban House
Humber Bank West
Often ephemeral and ethereal in quality, whilst working with digital and organic matter, clay, metal and fabric, oil and canvas, and figurative and abstract images my work ascribes meaning to ideas around where things begin and end in a world of infinite possibilities; celebrating within this theme the potential beauty of both the human-made and the natural world that can leave me completely enthralled to life’s processes. My work is inspired by life on the riverbank where I live and work.
In community based work, I develop projects that use creativity to question and celebrate aspects of individual and communal life experiences, finding meaningful and imaginative expressions for these things through appropriate processes and with sensitivity to the environment and the chosen media.
