62 Sorrel Way
All items are created in my cream cabin garden studio. I consider myself to be mainly a wirework artist, focusing on wearable art. Using bare, coated copper and silver wire, I weave jewellery items that also include crystal, semi-precious and precious gemstones. I usually work in freeform style, meaning that no pattern is followed and items are one of a kind. However, I am currently photographing my work in stages of completion, with the hope of writing tutorials that I can use to help other learn this craft.
Wire wrapping is a wonderful, meditative and therapeutic art form and the possibilities are as large as your imagination! When visiting the cabin studio, you may also find ethereal alcohol ink paintings of landscapes, flowers and occasional abstracts, this is my favourite alternative medium.
