The gallery features the work of three local artists:
Jackie Bishop is a textile and mixed media artist. She loves landscape and this year she has been working on combining textiles with poems to express how she feels when walking in nature. She continues to explore colour and pattern using printmaking and textiles.
Mike Pickwell is a photographer whose work is inspired by the natural world around him both on the coast and inland: landscapes, flowers, insects, birds and animals. He accesses his work on foot, and walking features in much of what he does. Cards and mounted prints will be for sale or to view.
Heather Pickwell has always been inspired by the Lincolnshire coast and countryside. She makes rope sculpture and creates felt and silk pictures and bowls based on her love of pattern and form in the natural world. She is developing new work using driftwood to make ink drawings based around walks along our coast.
